My first introduction to Penguin in Normal was a breeder in Limburg. He offered by Internet 2 to couples. I knew little of this color work and I look. What is saw was me, a special color that you do not encounter too much. Now I really knew nothing of this color work and I bought the two couples to feel, without any knowledge. The young birds were a nice big figure, but whether they met the standard requirements (and what that entailed), I did not.
linked the birds four weeks after I had in the house and the first results were not great, 1 pop went pretty quick death, and the other torque produced unfertilized eggs. Eventually I knew that guy season 6 out of it. All this guy had a reasonable figure but were all too light in color, against the men for the mottled. Meanwhile, I looked into the standards and had the book of the NZC purchased. Another failure of the birds that had not passed through the gray to the bill but went to a white border. What good is present the required wing skirt.
Time to make something to buy birds, a 6 many dark (intense) pupae in Achterveld bought a couple and a single man in Ochten en one in Amersfoort. Here I have grown into the past breeding season (and the young of the previous year). The results are significantly better and the size remains reasonable. For the coming breeding season I have some very intensive dolls and men are a good size. In the coming years, I must note an improvement in realizing the particular color.
Now know that you should look like canaries or birds mold (not intensive) or intensive. These birds put together with the appropriate characteristics hopefully provide better birds.
For the coming breeding season I have my breeding line adapted in response to the comment letters on the label and the (very important) comparing my birds with that of the champion. My birds are found on the wings, the male to have a pale cheek color. I work here by two tracks: 1: Linking Normal Penguin x Normal Penguin which in particular I note the good color combination. 2: The breeding of birds split by Gray x Normal Penguin. The good split birds here next year I will use the base of the Normal Penguin birds to improve. Hans de Boer 2 Oktober 2009.
