Silver Zebra finches are highly valued within the zebra finch a stroke color. Especially visitors to shows, that zebra finches do not breed, show the best color pastels as stroke. I prefer the Light back -Silver. In my possession are only Silver birds. These birds I have not for exhibitions but the breeding of birds Silver Penguin.
I bought my first flock in northern Limburg together with my first Penguin Normal. These birds are the ancestors of my birds Silver Penguin. Almost all the Silver birds in my possession now split birds. These are easily recognized as not pure Silver. The back drawing is not tight, the format is a little on the small side and chest drawing lighter than pure Silver.
For good Silver Penguin birds continue to grow so I again have to find pure Silver birds.
