My pet shop (Van Donkelaar Ede, Pet shop) regularly buys from growers in zebra finches. I come a few times a week so I see him regularly as he has purchased. At one point I noticed a four zebra finches that were striking in color, but also slightly brown cream. I knew this color and had not started on the site of the NZC search. The birds turned out to be Isabel Fawn. I bought them last year and grown with it.
The objective is to work in the future Penguin Isabel Fawn birds to breed. The major difficulty is that the backs of these birds seem to be gray but I will still go and try.
