The new book “The Zebra Finch” of the NZC is out!

At the opening of Veenendaal 2009, the new book “The Zebra Finch” of the NZC presented. In April of this year were members of the NZC have the opportunity to subscribe to the first edition of the book at a competitive price. If you prepaid the book's name was put with the names and signatures of the authors. Of course I have this option. As the owner of the old book I looked forward to the new.

At the opening of Veenendaal 2009 presented the three writers and two photographers the new book. After the opening we could pick it up.

The format of the new book has remained the same with the old but that is also 1 of the few agreements.

The front of the book is adorned with four beautiful pictures and this continued in the entire book. Really beautiful pictures of almost every color. The book is written in readable text, alongside the plaintext is also well written which means that you enjoy reading. The book covers 319 pages of information with key issues such as breeding selection, acquisition, breeding, growing space, vermin and health of the birds. The book also examines genetics, feather and leather mutation. These topics are also good for the young lovers to understand.

Then all known shades of color treated, and the cultivation instructions. What is new (and very well found) tips from top breeders are the breeders. I myself have found good information for my Penguin Normal and Isabel Fawn birds to improve.

My conclusion is that the new book an asset to the sport and a bird must for every serious breeder zebra finches. Whether novice or experienced, it is an excellent reference book full of  information and tips.
