Bird breeders are always looking for a better classification of the grow room so you just spent 1 or 2 more breeding cages as family entertainment. I therefore. And better patterns I had room for two breeding cages of 60-40-40. Rap so ordered two berths in the firm Van Heesakkers and these were delivered within one weeks. I have 13 of these cages in, 9 in the four size 40-40-40 and 60-40-40 in size.
The new cages were similar to the old 1 with minor detail differences, the fronts were at the top put down in the middle with a small screw cap (see photo). The advantage of this small change that the fronts cannot come forward and gave the perches is not loose.
So you see that a small screw cap can be a big improvement. For my other cages I immediately ordered these caps. Henny van Heesakkers told on me was to drill 6mm hole and then thread tapping with M8. Meanwhile I have done that in all cages.
The cages 40-40-40 I fitted the screw cap, these fronts bend less through but if there is a nesting box to get them something out. Now with the introduction of the screw cap, I will not be bothered anymore.
